Bird of paradise is native of South Africa is a genus of five species of perennial plant. It
belong to the
plant family strelitziaceae. In South Africa it is commonly known as a Crane Flower. The birds
of paradise
plant is also known for its air purifier properties making it a popular choice for indoor
spaces.
USES: The Bird of Paradise is an ideal decorative house plant and also for landscaping
around our houses,
office, hotels premises. It is an ideal pot plant for outdoor and semi indoor plant.
PLANT CARE:
Temperature Range: 25ᵒc to 42ᵒc
Humidity Range : 40% TO 70%
Shade Level : 30% to 50% Indirect light
Watering: pH 6.5 to 7, TDS: 50 TO 100.
Check the moisture level in your pot or garden and apply the water accordingly, keep the soil
moist.
Avoid excess water.
Fertilizer: Bird of Paradise plant tends to be heavy feeder.
They prefer a balanced fertilizer. N.P.K. 1-1-1, 2 gms per Ltr.
Use organic manure once in 10 days, 10 kg per plant once in 15 days. Avoid excess fertilizer.
